AGC, the world’s leading manufacturer of flat glass, and the ELVA Group, a French manufacturer of high-performance multi-material windows, doors and bay windows, are combining their skills to develop “THE” window of tomorrow!
Within the framework of this development, where creativity is in the spotlight, the ELVA Group will manufacture and market the “Clara by ELVA” joinery throughout France, integrating the Clara all- glass leaf into wood and mixed frames.”Clara by ELVA” will be added to the already extensive range of high-performance windows of the ELVA Group and will be marketed through a network of partners and subsidiaries.
This association is the result of the will of both groups to offer to the different actors of the market an elitist complementary joinery having as main attractions the design, the insulation, the exclusiveness and the personalization of the window.
How do you transform a traditional window into a panoramic window? How can I replace the frame, sashes and crossbars that reduce light? How to build a stable and watertight window with excellent rigidity? The answer is refined but simple, an absolute innovation: the Clara window, the only frameless window in the world with a casement made entirely of glass. The sleek, filigree design fits in perfectly with modern architecture, lets more natural light into the interior and offers virtually unlimited creative possibilities. The clarity, transparency, elegance and energy efficiency of the “Clara by ELVA” windows will enthuse window enthusiasts – 4 arguments that make the difference!
Véronique RENOU, General Manager of the ELVA Group: “I wanted to develop this partnership with AGC Glass Europe because it seemed obvious to me in terms of the ELVA Group’s positioning. Indeed, for years, the Group has constantly positioned its offer at the top of the range. This positioning is achieved through the widest choice of materials and product ranges in our profession, and, in each material, through an unparalleled depth of range, always in line with our slogan: ‘When imagination dares, ELVA composes’. This differentiation is completed by a high level of performance in terms of thermal and acoustic performance, as well as fire resistance. This product strategy is also based on an ambitious sales strategy, reaching out directly to the various players in the construction and renovation industry, whether they are principals or specifiers. It is also our characteristics: a family group on a human scale, favouring proximity, flexibility, listening and shared trust with employees, customers and suppliers, which enabled us to seize this superb opportunity and to implement it with great responsiveness.”
Laurent LALLEMAND, National Sales Manager France Clara: “The Vision “Look Beyond” is the AGC Group’s philosophy on which all our activities in FRANCE are based. We aim to create value and demonstrate the vast potential of our CLARA joinery by anticipating, thinking ahead, developing perspectives beyond the classic window and pursuing innovation, never settling for the status quo. These missions express the value that the AGC Group intends to offer to the joinery market and represent its raison d’être. It was therefore obvious to us that the ELVA Group would be one of our French partners of reference thanks to a long-term relationship of trust. This is based on unique materials and solutions with the adaptation of our all-glass sash to wood and wood/aluminium frames, and we will continue to work together in this way to meet the needs of both customers and society and thus contribute to improving people’s lives.”
